As work travel starts up again, many northerners will be heading south to warmer climates for conferences and face-to-face meetings. At least that's what we've heard from many of our clients lately. As such, we're bringing you some tips on warm weather suiting that will help you to look your best and feel comfortable while you're at it.

Lately, I’ve had several clients come to me looking for a custom white bridal tuxedo. It’s an incredible look when done right, and I’ve been so happy with how the ones we have created so far have turned out.

Except for some of our earliest shots, all the photos on our website are of real clients wearing suits that we have actually made. We use real clients to model our suits, not models (although some of our clients have actually been models, which is great too!), because we want everyone to see how great they too could look in a custom suit. We want to give an accurate impression of what we can do for you. And because we think our clients are truly beautiful and we want to celebrate them.

We’ve recently noticed that it’s often wives / girlfriends who are doing the legwork to find their husbands a great custom suit, be it for a wedding or just to wear to work. This post is for those wives and girlfriends out there. What we want to tell you is that you should definitely be bringing your husbands to us.

There are a lot of tuxedo shops in New York City. Custom ones. And then others that offer ready-to-wear tuxedos. But the fact is that most of them offer the same things — slight variations on the old classic black tuxedo; or the white tuxedo smoking jacket with black pants. Fabric and design options are usually very limited — there’s only so much one can do for a traditional tuxedo, right? It’s all pretty predictable.

We don’t have separate women’s and men’s design and-or fabric books; there are no designs or fabrics that are specifically for men, and others that are specifically for women at Watson Ellis. At Watson Ellis, unisex — or androgynous — custom suits are really what we specialize in.
